Frequently Asked Questions

— How do I prepare for my consultation?

After you schedule an appointment, you will receive an email with clear information on what to expect and how to prepare for your visit.

— Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We take some insurance plans. We work with The Lactation Network (TLN) for full coverage of lactation support. To find out if your plan is eligible, click the “check your coverage” button located on our home page or work with us page. Checking your coverage through TLN is quick and easy. Clients usually know within a couple hours.

If your plan is NOT approved by TLN, then your visits will be out-of-network and self-pay.

— How do I pay you?

You will give credit card information when scheduling your appointment. Your payment will be processed at the time of your consultation if you are self-pay. Let us know if you would rather pay with cash or a check. We will provide you with a coded Superbill that you may use to submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance company.

— What is a Superbill?

A Superbill is a detailed invoice with the information your insurance company needs to verify the healthcare service we provide, in order to consider a reimbursement for you. As an out-of-network provider, we do not know reimbursement amounts. It may benefit you to get pre-approval first.

—Do you take Medicaid/Medicare

We are not currently registered as Medicare/Medicaid providers.

— I don’t live in any of the neighborhoods on your website; can you still help me?

Absolutely. We apply travel fees as follows: $10 for drives over 30min, $20 for drives over 45min, and $30 for drives over 60min.

— What if I have questions before scheduling?

If you need more information before making an appointment, please call or email us.
